Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved"(Acts 4:12)
Today's Morsel: I get calls from people trying to sell me stuff. It's amazing how well they have been trained in selling the product. They will tell all the great things that their product can do for me and what is included in the warranty program and how much better their product is then someone else's. But I usually have a question for each of them. I ask them, "Tell me how does yours work?" That question usually catches them by surprise. Because now they have to back pedal if they don't own the product they are trying to sell. They either have to be honest with me or tell me a lie. The reason it is hard for some people to sell the gospel which brings us salvation is because they don't know what is in it. They've heard what is in it, but they haven't experienced it personally yet. Paul told the church at Thessalonica, "For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake" (1 Thessalonians 1:5). "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek" (Romans 1:16).
