2011 May 26 - Morning Manna

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
(Ephesians 2:20-22)

Today's Morsel: Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry, who seek to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action for others.  To accomplish their goals, they invite people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need.
Paul said that we are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.    The word habitation, means, a dwelling place.  Therefore, we must become dwelling places for God's Spirit to dwell in.  Scripture says, Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)... "For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people" (2 Corinthians 6:16).  What are you doing to help others become buildings for Christ to dwell in?

Sing: Lord, prepare me, to be a sanctuary, pure and holy, tried and true; and with thanksgiving, I'll be a living, sanctuary, for you.
