For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. (Psalms 36:9)
Today's Morsel: Studying through history, the light has been around for quite sometime. Thank God that man was given wisdom on how to produce and develop light for us to use and see by. Jesus said that we are the light of the world a city that is sit on a hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14). Therefore, we must shine bright as people will come to the light. The Psalmist said, In thy light shall we see light. God is light (1 John 1:5). Therefore, when we see Jesus, who is God manifested in flesh (John 1:14), we are still seeing the light. Jesus said to Nicodemus, " For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved... And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God" (John 3:17,19-21). When we see Jesus we are looking at the true light that lighteth every man that cometh into the world, John said (John 1:9). What do people see when they see you? Do they see the true light in you? In thy light shall we see light.
Sing: Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness. Opened my eyes, let me see. Beauty that made this heart adore You, hope of a life spent with You.
Here I am to worship, here I am to bow down, here I am to say that You're my God. You're altogether lovely, all together worthy, all together wonderful to me.
