Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2017 March 18

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12).

Today’s Morsel: I believe that if salvation was the number one gadget on the market, most people still would not purchase it.  They would go for something else.  I often wonder why people do not choose the most important thing for their life?  What is it about salvation that people don’t want?  Why are so many afraid to be a Christian?  Why are so many afraid to say that Jesus is their God yet they are excited that He found and saved them?  Jesus never said that you couldn’t have anything else.  He simply said that without Him you can do nothing.  Have you considered eternity lately?

Sing: Once I was straying in sin’s dark valley, no hope within could I see; they searched thru heaven and found a Savior to save a poor lost soul like me.
O’ what a Savior, O’ hallelujah, His heart was broken on Calvary: His hands were nail scarred, His side was riven, He gave His life-blood for even me.

Thought For Today:  Eternity is a long time!

  1. What a Savior, indeed. Thank you so much Jesus for loving and saving me. I would say thank you for 'going out of Your way' to save me, but...that would not make sense, for salvation IS Your way. Blessed be the Name of the Lord. Amen.
