Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2017 March 21

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7)

Today’s Morsel:  Science seems to be all about trying to find out where we came from and prove the Bible as being incorrect.  They refuse to accept the word of God as fact. Instead, they are going about spending millions of dollars trying to find an answer to prove their theory, but in the end coming up with the same answers that are already in the Bible.  And yet, they still refuse to believe that God created man from the dust of the earth.  Paul said, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned… For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?”  The natural mind will not receive the truth of God’s word. He refuses it.  Paul continues by saying, “Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.  For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.”  “For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world” (1 Corinthians 1:19-20)?  If you don’t believe the word of God, He’ll keep letting you chase your tail like a dog.

Sing:  Go ahead, and mock my name; My love for you is still the same.  Go ahead and bury me; but very soon I will be free!  Cause I’ll rise again, ain’t no power on earth can tie me down; Yes, I’ll rise again, death can’t keep me in the ground.

Thought For Today:  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My word shall not pass away.

  1. "For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life, and peace."
