Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2017 March 20

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus
throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:17-21).

Today’s Morsel:  A call for keeping our heart pure is a command throughout scripture.  Jesus said that the pure in heart shall see God.  Paul told the church at Ephesus that he prayed that Christ may dwell in their hearts by faith, and that they would be rooted and grounded in love and to be able to know all about the love of Christ.  If we really want to know about His love, then we must search the scriptures to find it (John 5:39-40).  Not until we know the depths of His love can we understand the height of His ability to do things through us.  Knowing Him fully requires a pure heart.

Sing:  Our God is able to deliver thee.  He is able to deliver thee, He is able to deliver thee; Though by sin oppressed, go to Him for rest.  Our God is able to deliver thee.

Thought For Today:  There is nothing too hard for God.

  1. Lord, I ask for miracle emotions and senses today, that I may reach that person for whom You are reaching. I bind the spirit of perversion and loose the Spirit or purity. Rule in my heart, oh God.
