Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2017 March 16

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength” (Isaiah 26:3-4).

Today’s Morsel:  The Lord told Moses, “And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them” (Exodus 6:3).  Isaiah said that Jehovah is everlasting strength.  Jesus Christ is the Lord JEHOVAH, which is, and was, and is to come; self-existent, eternal, and immutable; and in Him is strength, as well as righteousness for His people.  He is everything that we can want for.  He bears up under every temptation and affliction.  He can withstand every spiritual enemy, exercise every bit of grace that is needed, and discharge every duty.  This strength is everlasting and will always continue in Him.  When we are weak, He is strong.  Jehovah, the self-existent, eternal; the I AM that I AM.  He will keep you in perfect peace, if your mind is stayed on Him.

Sing:  Jehovah Jireh, my provider, His grace is sufficient for me, for me, for me.  Jehovah Jireh, my provider, His grace is sufficient for me.  My God shall supply all my need, according to His riches in glory.  He shall give His angels charge over me; Jehovah Jireh careth for me, for me, for me.  Jehovah Jireh careth for me.

Thought For Today:  His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

  1. By the grace (divine enablement/empowerment; unmerited favor) of God, I AM what I AM! Hallelujah.
