Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. (Psalms 97:10)
Today's Morsel: How much do you hate evil? If we say that we love the Lord, then we must hate evil. I'm not talking about the people that commit evil, I'm talking about the evil that people do. We must not even be associated with it. Sad to say, so many people that say that they are Christian, seem to love evil more than they do righteousness. Paul told Timothy that evil seducers will wax worse and worse in the last days. You can join with them for current financial gain, or you can come out from among them and be separated unto the Lord. "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God" (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1). Jesus preserves the souls of His saints; He will deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
Sing: I love you Lord, and I lift my voice to worship you, oh my soul rejoice; take joy, my king in what you hear, let it be a sweet, sweet sound in your ear.
