Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 5 September 2020

Stop Beating Your Head Against The Wall

Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
(Proverbs 1:20-22)

Today’s Morsel:  If you keep beating your head against the wall, sooner or later you are going to find out that it hurts. Wisdom is calling every day.  But sad to say, many folks refuse to accept it and listen to what it is trying to show them or tell them.  All these riots and demonstrations going on in the street are by those who are void of wisdom.  Scripture will fulfill itself.  You sow evil, you will reap evil.  You sow injustice, you will reap injustices.  You sow hatred, you will reap hate.  If you do not get wisdom, knowledge, discretion, and understanding, you are probably going to have lots of headaches.

Sing:  Change my heart oh God, make it ever true. Change my heart oh God, may I be like You.

Thought For Today: “If you keep beating your head against the wall, sooner or later you are going to find out that it hurts.”
