Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 13 May 2019

Finders Keepers
“Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.” (Proverbs 23:23)

Today’s Morsel:  There are many things that when we find them, we must not depart with them.  Some of those things are truth, wisdom, instruction, and understand.  If we find the truth and let it go, then we will live a lie for the rest of our lives.  If we find wisdom and let it go, then we will be unwise for the rest of our lives.  If we find instruction and let it go, then we will be without order and directions in our lives.  And if we find understanding and let it go, then we will be like the horse and mule who must be led about with bits and bridles for the rest of our lives.  “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:20-22)  If salvation was worth finding it is worth keeping.

Sing: I have found the way, I have found the way.  O’ Glory hallelujah, I have found the way.

Thought For Today: If Salvation was worth finding it is worth keeping (Parker)
