Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2018 June 4

“And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched” (1 Samuel 10:26).

Today’s Morsel:  One of the ways you can determine the people around you whose heart God has touched is to observe their character.  When a person's heart has been touched by God, they are more inclined to show honor and respect to authority, they will be fearful of sinning, and they show a strong reverence for God and His ways, and God is always kept as the number one priority in their life.  They display valor, courage, and bravery.  They are more eager for the will of God to be done than the will of man or even their own will.  When a man’s heart has truly been touched by God, he lives by the motto, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).  It is easy to tell if a person's heart has been touched by God.   Does your life reflect His touch to others?

Sing:  He touched me. Oh, He touched me. And oh, the joy that floods my soul. Something happened and now I know, Jesus touched me and He made me whole.

Thought For Today:  He’ll touch you if you’ll let Him (Parker).
