2013 May 18 - Morning Manna

"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith"
(2 Thessalonians 3:1-2).
Today's Morsel: Do you every stop and consider how many people are praying for you? There is nothing like knowing that you have a prayer covering when you are going into a new area of work, a job interview, surgery, travel, or even just day-to-day life. Just knowing that others are praying for us should give us peace of mind. John said, "And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand" (Revelation 8:3-4). Paul told Timothy, "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:1-5). When we pray according to His will, things will happen.
Sing: Hear my cry O' God; attend unto my prayer, from the end of the earth will I cry unto Thee, and when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to that rock, that is higher than I, so much higher than I.
