2014 December 4 - Morning Manna

Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat! I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments. I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me. Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me
 (Job 23:3-6).

Today’s Morsel: If you could sit and talk with anyone you wanted to, who would it be? I have seen interviews with presidents and world leaders, and it’s amazing some of the questions that people choose to ask. Of all the questions that were asked of Jesus, none of them seem to be personal in nature. People asked Him about the end times. They asked Him to teach them to pray. But none of it was personal. So one day, Jesus told them, “Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:24). Jesus was saying, “Ask your questions now so you will get an answer and be happy.” Job said, “Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat! I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments. I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me. Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.” Job said, “I would ask Him if I could find Him and know what He would say, and He would give me strength.” God isn’t out to destroy you. He has your best interests at heart. So ask Him your questions, and see if you don’t gain strength in your inner man from the answers He gives.

Sing: Now let us have a little with Jesus, let us tell Him all about our troubles, He will hear our faintest cry He will answer by and by, when you feel a little prayer will turning, you'll know a little fire is burning, you'll find a little talk with Jesus makes it right.

Thought for Today: Jesus always has your best interest at heart.
