Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2018 July 12

“Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed” (Isaiah 53:1)?

Today’s Morsel: If you have noticed, just about so much of what is posted on social media and in the news is incorrect. And yet, at least 95% of all people make their decisions about certain issues and people based upon it.  And still more ironic, that same percentage will not believe the word of God.  Isaiah asked who have believed their report about the Lord?  The prophets gave a report of Him.  John the Baptist gave a report of Him. And Jesus even gave His own report of Himself, before Abraham was I Am (John 8:58). John wrote, “He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:11-12).  The Jews did not receive the report of Him, nor even some today, and for this reason, He was not, and has not, manifested himself to them as the promised Messiah. Whose report will you believe?  Praying you will believe the report of the Lord.

Sing: Whose report will you believe?  We shall believe the report of the Lord.  Whose report will you believe?  We shall believe the report of the Lord.  His report says I am healed. His report says I am filled.  His report says I am free. His report says victory.

Thought For Today: Is what you are hearing and reading fake news or truth?
