Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2016 March 9

Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. (Proverbs 10:12)

Today’s MorselOur church theme for February was Christian Soldiers in Love. When we truly understand the love of God, we can understand why it is essential that we keep a strong relationship with Him. He must remain first in all that we do.  John wrote that God is love (1 John 4:8). And if we say that we love Him and hate our brother that we are lairs.  You see, love covers sin. And hate is sin. Love is willing to forgive you of your sin. Love is willing to turn the other cheek. Love is willing to go out of its way so that you can live. If we love God, then our sins are covered under His blood. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.  His love caused Him to sacrifice for our sins.

Sing: I am covered, covered, covered by His blood, walking in faith, living in love; I am covered, covered, covered by His blood, Jesus has rescued me.

Thought For Today: “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:10)
