Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2016 March 2

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

Today's Morsel:
We’ve been hearing a lot  lately about not giving tips to waiters and waitresses for doing their jobs. A story was even told about a little boy asking his father why the waiters got 20% and God only gets 10%?  Isaiah said that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles.  When we serve God, He raises us up to a higher level. The waiters or waitresses who prepare themselves to serve God and others with a careful attitude usually get the most tips.

Sing:  They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint, teach me Lord, teach me Lord, to wait.

Thought For Today:  How many tips will you earn today?  (Parker)
