But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. "(Matthew 21:28-31)
Today's Morsel: When a man says that he wants to, but doesn't try, he lives in a state of confusion. I believe that every man should have the intestinal fortitude to do what he says he is going to do. And if not, be willing to say why he can't. As Christians, we need to realize that if we tell our Heavenly Father, or anyone else, that we are going to do something and don't, God is not well pleased. Always remember, your salvation didn't come with lies, it came with truth. And the truth will always make us free from ourselves. Therefore, if we say that we are His, then we must do what we say that we will do.
Sing: Are you washed, in the blood, in the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb? Are you garments spotless, or they white as snow; are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Thought for today: Be real!
