Things Which We Ought To Know How To Do
“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:11-13)
Today’s Morsel: Jesus said that when the Holy Ghost comes, it would lead us unto all truth. That being the case, then there are a lot of things we ought to know how to do. Let me share with you a few things:
1. We ought to know how to love one another.
2. We ought to know how to treat each other.
3. We ought to know how to forgive each other.
4. We ought to know how to worship God.
5. We ought to know how to act, dress, and look.
6. We ought to know how to be at church on time and help lead others to Christ.
7. We ought to know how to be content with what we have and who we are.
8. We ought to know when to speak and when to keep silent.
9. We ought to know who to confide in and who not to confide in.
10. We ought to know who Christ is and where He fits into our lives.
Paul said that he knew how to be abase and how to abound and that he could do all things through Christ who strengthen him. So, what is hindering you from doing all things through Him?
Sing: Would you do service for Jesus your King? There’s power in the blood, power in the blood. Would you live daily His praises to sing? There’s wonderful power in the blood.
There is power, power, wonder working power in the blood, of the Lamb. There is power, power, wonder working power in the precious blood of the Lamb.
Thought For Today: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
