2014 March 31 - Morning Manna

In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.   (Proverbs 12:28)
Today's Morsel:   The more downward spiral that this world seems to take, the more unrighteousness seems to prevail.  It's nothing new, but most people aren't aware of what is taking place in this world.  Most people don't understand that all unrighteousness is sin, and that the wages of sin is death.  Governments implement unrighteous laws and then expect people to live by them in a right way.  Hello!  No one can live right trying to obey an unrighteous law.  The only way one can live righteously and do right is to obey what is already right and which has been established by the Word of God.  Solomon tells us,  "If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked" (Proverbs 29:12); and that if we "Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness" (Proverbs 25:5).  The wicked must first be removed before righteousness can be established.  Even Isaiah lets us know that, "In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee" (Isaiah 54:14).  Our lives and everything we do must be established in righteousness as that is one of the things that makes us a child of God.  "In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother" (1 John 3:10). "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:7-8).  Don't allow people to fool you.   God is righteous and He expects His people to be also.  The last time I checked the scriptures, you needed to be right to enter heaven.  I don't know about you, but I just want to be right.
Sing:  Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto thee, Hallelu, Hallelujah!
