Morning Manna by Rufus Parker - 2018 May 3

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 14:12).

Today’s Morsel:  There are many roads that we can travel on to get us to our destinations here on earth.  Then there are those roads that you can take that will take you further away from where you want to go.  There are many roads that are paved with good intentions and there are roads less traveled, but where will they take you?  There are roads that are shortcuts, and then there are those that are longcuts depending on which one you take.  But there are no shortcuts or longcuts to heaven.  The highway to heaven is straight and narrow (Matthew 7:14).  We must ask ourselves, what road are we on?

Sing:  O’ there’s a highway to heaven, none can walk up there but the pure in heart. O’ there’s a highway to heaven, walking up the King's highway!

Thought For Today:  Know what road you are on.
