2011 November 4 - Morning Manna

"LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah."(Psalms 3:1-2).

Today's Morsel: Does the current world situation trouble you?  Are you concerned about what you see coming upon the earth?  Jesus said that in the last days men's hearts would fail them for looking at the things which are coming upon the earth.  Paul even said the evil seducers would wax worst and worst, deceiving and being deceived.  If we aren't careful, we can allow these things to trouble us.  But since this world is not our home and we are just passing through, we should keep our focus on Jesus, where we are headed, and see how many of the wicked we can pull out of the fire. Hell is real, you know.  And it's the wrong place for you to spend eternity.  So let me encourage you today to always remember the six (6) "W's" as you live for the Lord.   Worship the Lord with all your heart, Watch your surroundings, Witness to everyone you meet, Wait upon the Lord, be Wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove, and Walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.  If you follow these six "W's," you won't be troubled.

Sing:  LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! Many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God; but thou O' Lord are a shield for me, the glory and the lifter of my head, but thou O' Lord are a shield for me, the glory and the lifter of my head.
